When Ashley Thompson was 16 years old, he made his boxing debut as a junior amateur.

Defending Croydon Amateur Boxing with 3 victories and 1 loss.

Having been away from amateur fighting for 4 years, he decided to step back into the ring at the first Boxing Grand Prix show to reach a wider audience. In the second round, he knocked his opponent, Emmanuel Liekonzo, out.

A combination of his footwork and fast hands creates something special in his fights and makes him a very enjoyable watch.
